The Modern Witch's Guide to Beltane
A mini online course to guide you in understanding and celebrating the pagan sabbat of Beltane
Celebrate May Day
Upon completion of this course, you will have the practical tools and inspiration you need to have a magickal Beltane!
Beltane is celebrated each year on May 1, also known as May Day. It is a day of frivolity and sensuality. The sabbat is also a celebration of fertility, both of humans and of nature, as summer is on the horizon and the world is in bloom.
Your instructors are practicing witches with almost two decades of combined, magickal experience. We believe witchcraft should be easily applicable to your modern, daily life and that your seasonal celebrations should suit your lifestyle and beliefs.
In this course, you will cover:
- What Is Beltane? We will answer your burning questions about what the sabbat represents and why we celebrate Beltane in the first place.
- Recipes. Honor the beautiful blossoms of the season with a recipe for Candied Violets, and toast to the start of summer with a Botanical-Infused Liquor Recipe. Meanwhile, freshen up the house with the bright scents of the Beltane Essential Oil Diffuser Blend.
- Decor & Project Ideas. Dance around the Maypole with a handmade Ribbon Wand of your very own and try your hand at both real-life and Crepe Paper Flower arrangements. Plus, design a beautiful Floating Beltane Altar!
- Spells & Rituals. Deep dive into the astrology of Beltane and learn about which sign the sun passes through this time of year, as well as which full moon the sabbat is closest to and how it affects the magickal energies of the day. Hold your own Beltane ritual and learn to work more closely with your grimoire on this magickal day as well!
