The Modern Witch's Guide to Litha
A mini online course to guide you in understanding and celebrating the pagan sabbat of Litha
Celebrate the Summer Solstice
Upon completion of this course, you will have the practical tools and inspiration you need to have a magickal summer solstice!
Litha is celebrated each year sometime around June 20-22. It is a day of sunshine, as it is the longest day of the year - the day with the longest number of daylight hours. Litha is a celebration of the peak of summer and of our own inner light.
Your instructors are practicing witches with almost two decades of combined, magickal experience. We believe witchcraft should be easily applicable to your modern, daily life and that your seasonal celebrations should suit your lifestyle and beliefs.
In this course, you will cover:
- What Is Litha? We will answer your burning questions about what the sabbat represents and why we celebrate the summer solstice in the first place.
- Recipes. Homemade Honey Cake and Grilled Nectarines recipes incorporate the bounty of the season and will be delicious served together! Bright, earthy scents will fill your home when using the Litha Essential Oil Diffuser Blend.
- Decor & Project Ideas. In addition to building an outdoor altar inspired by the astrological alignment of Stonehenge, you'll learn to make your own Refreshing Sun Mist for a DIY Spa Day and a DIY Ice Bowl for Offerings!
- Spells & Rituals. Deep dive into the astrology of the summer solstice and learn about which sign the sun passes through this time of year, as well as which full moon the sabbat is closest to and how it affects the magickal energies of the day. Hold your own Litha Strengthening Ritual, learn all about Flower Essences and begin working more closely with your grimoire on this magickal day as well!
